sometimes i realize there are so many things i won’t remember in 50 years like the way the sky looked this morning and all the dogs i saw today and my mom’s voice and i get so sad i never want to forget
Holding hands as they jumped from the towers in an attempt to stay alive.
Hands down. My favorite picture from September 11th.
Perhaps not an attempt to stay alive as they were above the crash and had no way of getting down, so, ending it on their terms might’ve been a more attractive option. The fact that people had to face this decision is the most haunting and hated part about 9/11 for me.
No one wants to be alone in there last moments,
This kills me. Like it hurts my heart. And my head.
Their options were jump or burn. I was 8 when it happened. My mom always turned off the news if it was showing jumpers.

i will keep reblogging this each month
By now you’ve probably realized that you have a distinct choice to make: just let life happen, which is tantamount to serving God your leftovers, or actively run toward Christ.

things ppl rly need to stop glorifying
- not going outside
- having social anxiety
- being socially awkard
- spending all of your time on the internet
- not talking to people
- disliking people
IS TIME MOVING FASTER OR AM I JUST BECOMING MORE AWARE OF HOW SHORT A YEAR REALLY IS BECAUSE CHRIST ITS ALREADY JULY
Your years are getting shorter proportionally to your life. Every day, you’ve been alive more than you were a year before.
A year for a 1 year old is their WHOLE LIFE and a year for a 5 year old is 1/5th of their life. Your fractions just keep getting smaller, making your years seem shorter.
